From 24 to 26 october, Prof. Anessa Kimball took part in 2The 21st Canada-Korea Forum in Montréal.
This is an annual high-level political forum between Canada and Korea where discussions focus on emerging challenges and opportunities for both countries, with the aim of advancing mutual growth and fostering closer engagement.
This 21st Forum focused on security, economic growth and cooperation in the face of global challenges.
Prof. Anessa Kimball spoke at the first session: Global Geopolitical risks and their security implications for the Indo-Pacific Region. This session presented recommendations such as:
- Reinforce deterrence and strategic assurance;
- Expand bilateral agreements;
- Strengthen our mutual security;
- Participate in the NATO Center of Excellence;
- Strengthen minilateral cooperation.
