ESEI is organizing a conference on Thursday February 29 to mark the two-year anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation.
Topics will include the status of Ukraine's NATO accession process and efforts to establish Russian state responsibility before international courts. The posture of the Canadian Armed Forces will also be discussed, as well as how Vladimir Putin's government is keeping his regime in place and coping with multiple military setbacks.
The discussions will be led by the ESEI's Director,, Jonathan Paquin, eand we are pleased to welcome four panelists:
- Anessa Kimball, Professor in the Department of Political Science and Director of the CSI;
- Vladyslav Lanovoy, Professor in the Faculty of Law;
- Frédérick Côté, doctoral student at ESEI;
- Maxime Philaire, master's student in political science.
