The theme chosen for the 2018 conference is the war of the future and the impact it will have in socio-psychological, technological, cyber, biomedical, legal and ethical terms. On the one hand, the conference aims to present the diversity and complexity of modern military operations and, on the other, to examine the multiple aspects of the increasing dehumanization of the battlefield. These issues are more topical than ever with the sophistication of contemporary technological means and their gradual introduction into the field of military applications. Numerous international and national experts from the public and private sectors, combining field experience with a conceptual approach, will be invited to present their perspectives and take part in the debates.
